You know, Indonesia experienced many disasters, I mean gifts from God, recently. yep, Floods in Wasior, tsunami in Mentawai, and Merapi mountain erupted in Yogyakarta. Um, very sad. But I believe that God gave this because god knows that we are able to overcome this.
I live in Yogyakarta now, but I was lucky, because the area where I live now was not affected by the disaster. and I hope it will not.
Oh well, because the tv continues discuss about disaster of 'Merapi' in Yogyakarta, my parents who live in Sumatra became frantic. They worried about me and my sister who ware in Yogyakarta. they suggested that we just fled. that's better, they said. Moreover, schools and college campuses in Yogyakarta were closed because of the disaster. So, my parents told us to flee to Bali. Hahaaha,, that's ridiculous, right? I would think,..,eh.. "Mom, Dad, I just want to evacuate to a safe place. It's not holiday."
But, never mind. this is called 'passion brings pleasure'. so, my sister and I went to Bali on November 8th, 2010 with the bus. "I'm sorry Yogyakarta!"
You know? Bali is a tourist island that will never be forgotten if you've been there. many tourist attractions there. I will show you pictures of me while on there in the next post. Now I just want to share pictures about Bali to you. you'll like it.

Sooo,, are that interesting, aren't? oh,, one more, i did not tell you about GWK yet. Garuda Wisnu Kencana is one of some beautiful park in Bali which is located in Nusa Dua. Garuda Wisnu Kencana has very strategic location with only about 10 minutes drive from Ngurah Rai Airport.

According to the information, when all the separated statue of Wisnu and Garuda is perfectly attached, the height of the statue will be 150 meters with 64 meters wide of the wings. Garuda Wisnu Kencana Statue has its own meaning which describes Lord Wisnu -one of Hindu's God that controls our universe- and the Garuda that's believed as the bird which leads us to Amerta.

For now, all the statue of Garuda Wisnu Kencana haven't attached and they're placed in different places. The Wisnu Statue's placed in the Plaza Wisnu. From this place, we can enjoy the great view of Kuta, Benoa, and Sanur. In this plaza, there's Parahyangan Somaka Giri, a holy spring continually spews out clear water through a stone bowl which many people believe it can cure illnesses or give you a long life. As for the Garuda Statue's placed in Plaza Garuda which is located just behind Plaza Wisnu.
